TROUBLE IN RUNNING

COLOURFUL BARON (G301) after the race, rider reported that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to take up a forward position. He added as a result his mount was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 637.

CLASSIC ARCHI (G295) jumped only fairly and then was bumped shortly after the start- Race 513.

HAPPY HERO (G322) from the 600M raced wide and without cover. Near the 150M lay in, resulted in its rider changing his whip to his right hand. Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race - Race 569.

NINJA DERBY (H339) near the 1600M was shifted in to obtain cover behind a runner and then commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from heels for some distance approaching the 1500M. When questioned, rider stated that the instructions were from an inside barrier to hold a more forward position. He stated that after racing in a handy position throughout the early and middle stages, he was then held up for clear running making the Home Turn behind a runner and to the inside of another runner. He added that when the latter runner did not improve into the event, he then continued to be held up to the inside of that runner and then in the Home Straight was unable to immediately shift to the outside of that runner when the 12th placegetter was positioned to his outside. He said as a result his mount was held up for clear running until near the 200M. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 609.

SUNNY SHINES (H484) after the 400M had difficulty obtaining clear running when racing in restricted room and made contact with a runner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 637.

CIRCUIT ELITE (E487) jumped awkwardly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 609.

FASTPASS (H040) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 637.

ARTHUR'S KINGDOM (E194) after the race, rider reported that in the Home Straight his mount hung in and proved difficult to ride out - Race 637.

DIAMOND WINNER (H285) jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 637.

AROMATICA (H437) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 652.
