It was love at first sight, apparently! In an interview on Irish TV show Face to Face, Dornan said that he already “fancied” Warner before they met in person at a mutual friend’s get-together.
In another conversation on The Late Late Show with James Corden, he added: “She’d been an actor so I knew who she was. I always fancied her, and we were doing karaoke and … a friend of ours said, ‘Listen, Amelia Warner’s at a house party up by Los Feliz and she’s single.’ I literally dropped the mic and was like, you know, ran for the hills.”

Per The Guardian, she met Colin Farrell at the premiere of Quills, and they said “I do” on a beach in Tahiti eight months later – however, it wasn’t a legally binding ceremony, according to an interview she gave to the British press in 2011.
“We didn’t actually get married – it’s not actually true … We had a ceremony on a beach in Tahiti that was by no means legal and we knew it wasn’t,” she explained.
