Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston Cage Coppola, is reportedly being investigated by law enforcement after allegations he behaved violently towards his mum Christina Fulton, according to TMZ.

The alleged incident took place at Fulton’s LA home on April 28, according to US media. According to TMZ, the mother and son got into a verbal argument before things allegedly escalated into a “physical scuffle”. Fulton was later photographed with horrific bruising and yellow discolouration on her face and cheek, adds the source.

According to TMZ, sources close to Fulton say she denies the allegations and has requested privacy.

Weston Cage Coppola, 33, is actor Nicolas Cage’s eldest son. Per People, The Face/Off actor has three children from three different relationships and marriages: he shares Weston with Fulton and has another son, 18-year-old Kal-El Cage, with his ex-wife Alice Kim; as well as one-year-old daughter August Francesca, with his current wife, Riko Shibata.

In case you were wondering why his children have “Coppola” in their name, it’s because Cage is related to The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola, who is his uncle.

According to People, Weston Cage Coppola is a musician and actor. He was part of two metal bands, Eyes of Noctum and Arsh Anubis, per the source. Meanwhile, he’s starred in films and TV shows including Lord of War and 211 with his dad, and Raven, and Rats!, as seen on his IMDB. According to his IMDB profile, he has a full 11 upcoming projects in the works.

Per People, Weston has been married three times and has four children in total. He tied the knot with his first wife Nikki Williams in 2011, but called things off and then married Danielle Cage in 2013, with whom he shares two sons, Lucian and Sorin. After his divorce from Danielle, he wed Hila Cage Coppola, and they welcomed twin girls in 2020, adds the source.

However, a report in US media last November revealed that Nicolas Cage and Christina Fulton had yet to meet their now three-year-old granddaughters due to a “nightmare” battle with their former daughter-in-law Hila Arounian. Now both Fulton and Weston are suing Arounian for defamation.
